Being a true beach-lover, I couldn't quite imagine how much I would enjoy a summer vacation that would require me to wear a scarf, jacket and hiking boots. But the site of Lake Louise's calm, turquoise waters were enough to convince me to try something new... and I'm so grateful I did.
