My W.E.L.L. Summit Weekend

This year at The W.E.L.L. Summit I had the incredible honor and blessing of being invited to speak on a panel in addition to hosting a Breakout Session and Sacred Beauty Bar. I was SO excited to join three other clean beauty and wellness experts I admire so-- Kristine Keheley, Co-founder of Vapour Organic Beauty, Sandra Lanshin, Founder of Treatment by Lanshin and Tara Foley, Founder of Follain-- for a discussion on "Beauty as Self-Care". You know this a topic I am super passionate about so it was a real treat to be part of this conversation with these dynamic and inspiring women!

On Day 2 of The W.E.L.L. Summit, I hosted my Breakout Session, Aging Beautifully: Celebrate Your Evolution. This was an exploration into the negative messaging around aging as women and how we can approach it from a more empowered place. I believe that we can shift and even transform the longstanding belief that a woman's beauty diminishes with age. In order to do that, we must be willing to examine our own beliefs. So, I asked my guests to do some reflective writing on their aging vs. beauty stories and share them with the group. The stories and conversation was so very rich and meaningful-- we laughed, cried, cheered each other on. It was amazing and I cannot wait to discuss this topic further, so stay tuned!

Next up, we hosted Sacred Beauty Bar, a space for women to experience some of the best in clean beauty, connect with one another and relax in between Breakout Sessions. It was situated in a comfy lounge right on the same floor as the sessions and quickly became the hot spot! Guests lined up to receive mini makeup lessons and touch-ups with me and my team, hair styling and energy therapy with Hair Stylist Nicole Cichocki, “Sweet Talk Tats” gold flash tattoos with Intuitive Personal Stylist Rebecca Santilli and facial rejuvenation using acupuncture and gua-sha with Holistic Healer Peggy Regis Robinson. We had so much fun offering our services and connecting with so many incredible women! I think Sacred Beauty Bar will be popping up at more conferences in the future...
